This Acrylic Fire Safety Regulation Flat Numbers Sign with Arrow has been designed in accordance with the amended Fire Safety Regulations 2022.
Each storey should have Flat Indicator Signs to support the Floor Identification Signs. These provide more information about the flats that can be accessed on each storey.
Regulations made under Article 24 of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 require building signage to follow these guidelines.

Customisation
Firstly, there are a maximum of 3 characters available for the flat number range. Use the text boxes to state the required numbers, we will add the hyphen between these numbers.
Secondly, select a Background Colour from the swatches – We offer a range of satin finish materials, explore our Colour Swatches page for more information.
Then, the text is UV printed on the face and the colour is pre-determined based on the background colour to create contrast.
Finally, choose a left or right arrow – If an arrow is not required, we have a Flat Numbers Sign without an arrow.
In addition, we offer two fixing styles: Self-Adhesive or Screw Fixings
Example Sign: Background Colour – Midnight Black Satin with white text.

Arrow Options
Arrows should be included when there are flats located in multiple directions on a floor. (15.16d)
If flats on a floor can only be accessed from one direction, an arrow is not required.
We offer a Flat Numbers Sign without an arrow if a single access identifier is needed.
Fitting Instructions
These signs come with a strong double sided tape on the back, allowing them to be attached directly to the desired surface.
To fit your sign, peel the adhesive that is pre-fitted to the back of the sign, then apply to the surface.
If screw fixings are selected, fix the provided back panel to the wall first then apply the self-adhesive backed sign on top.
Finally, align with spirit level for best results.
Further adhering to the legislation, these signs are to be fitted immediately below the Floor Identification Sign.
This means that the top of the sign is no lower than 50mm below the bottom of the Floor Identification Sign. (15.16a)
Cleaning
To clean these signs, use a soft clean cloth and warm soapy water if needed.
Do not use any harsh chemicals or bleach on the signs. As this can tarnish and craze the material.
If you require any more information regarding cleaning, please contact our team.
